Coming home from work Friday night there was a pretty bad accident on the way into our neighborhood. Click this link to see where. Apparently there were 2 pick up trucks trying to go around that corner at the same time and neither one liked where the yellow lines were… One truck that seemed to not know the neighborhood appeared to go straight in the corner not even turning (it’s a sharp 90º corner). The other coming out of the neighborhood appeared to be cutting the corner a bit close. I’m only guessing here, but they both had their respective front left wheels on the wrong side of the yellow lines. It was also a rainy night so visibility was less than normal. This left about 40 cars trying to get into Mt View with no where to go, and about 10 on their way out of the neighborhood. Seeing all the emergency lights, I pulled into the country club so I could park and get out of my car. This also gave me the perfect opportunity to hop out and watch them pull the 2 trucks apart. It looked to be a minor accident. One person was put on a stretcher, but that appeared to be precautionary. I hope everyone is alright, and I hope they all learned to pay attention to where they’re going!
