Day 7

day 7 we headed back to the airport.  We stopped by the epic playground at the campsite before we left.  They had a wicked airback burried in the ground that the kids LOVED!  We stopped at Hraunfossar on the way which was a very interesting set of falls that come out of the side of the bank of the river and fall into the river itself.  The images I’d seen before had a aqua main river but while we were there only the falls were clean/aqua while the river was quite silty.  Still impressive to see!

We stopped at Skorhagafoss on the way down to the airport as well which is just another neat falls on the side of the road.  We spend the morning winding down south on some mixed gravel dirt and paved roads that we uncrowded and very scenic.  It was a great way to wrap up another epic Iceland trip!  The kids has a blast, we had a blast, and it’s certainly something we’ll do again!
