I think I’m hooked. I left the house at 10pm last night, drove to pinkham notch, slept in the parking lot for a few hours then hit the trail at 5am in hopes of bagging a sunrise over the ravine. Yeah, mother nature had other ideas….. but I still went for a great hike! I decided to go up Lion’s head and down Boot Spur which were both firsts for me. It was 0° at the summit at 8am which was when I was crossing the top of tuckermans. It was also blowing 50~60mph sustained, with gusts to 70, all while snowing. FUN!!!
