We were lucky enough to get to go visit my parents in the Bahamas last week. The entire family flew down which was not as bad as you’d think. Isabella was a doll in Elias’ car seat the entire time, even napping at her normal times. Elias did well also, but keeping a 3y/o entertained when cooped for 5 hours isn’t easy. Once there we had a blast spending time with my parents. The weather was amazing, not too hot, not too cold, and the snorkeling there is some of the best I’ve ever done. We saw 8 eagle rays at once on one reef outside of Baker’s Bay (a resort owned by the same company that own’s Yellowstone Club!). I was also able to get 3 lobsters with the spear pole (SO much fun!) and left as many that were too short. Elias found “pirate treasure” on “pirates island” (we’d hide change under pieces of brain coral for him) which was a blast. Each night we’d all go to a beach or to town for a family walk with everyone which was always fun.
In the later part of the week we spend a few nights in Hope Town which has an EPIC lighthouse. The town is awesome as well as everyone drives golf carts. They also had ice cream shops and a playground, so it was a huge hit with the kids.
I know this is a TON of images, so sorry for that, the first group is from the big boy cameras, the second is from the iPhones (which is 95% Nikki’s work):
