I made it out to gooseberry again this morning.  I’m really starting to like this place as there’s a great mix of sand with small rocks and boulders.  It’s also got beach on both east south and west shores so I’ve found good wave action somewhere each time I’ve been here and I’ve also been able to manage the wind which has been nice when it’s cold enough w/o any added wind chill.  Enjoy!
