Well it’s been a long week and a half since my last update. Sorry about the delay, but I’ve been quite busy with photography work taking my processing time away from personal projects. This is a good thing though. Not a whole lot to report this week. Isabella is now eating and “demanding” food (if we’re eating and not feeding her she starts making noises to make sure we don’t leaver her out!). We’ve gotten pretty good with the feeding process, IE less messy. Elias has also been playing with David (the boy next door) a lot when they both get home “from school”. It’s fun having them bomb around outside and through the house together. David introduced Elias to star wars so Elias and I got to watch episode IV together for the first time which was awesome! David also has light sabers to play with which is a ton of fun (even for me).
The boat show was this past weekend, which was fun, but we also got a new doormat we LOVE! It’s made from floating lobster pot line from Maine lobstermen. Apparently whales were getting caught in their lines, so they’ve switched to sinking line but it’s not cheap to swap out all your line… One brilliant fisherman thought to re-use the line and make doormats (among other things). They had an example in their booth that was 20 years old!!! This is perfect for us, because not only is it from the sea AND a green/re-used product, but it’s also yellow and green (to match the house, it has NOTHING to do with with Packers! ;)).
