Had a fun weekend this past weekend in big part thanks to Debbie and Andy.  They took Elias overnight Saturday so Nikki and I could get some things done around the house to get ready for kid #2.  I had won some money in a raffle at work a few weeks ago, and we’d been saving it for Ikea…  So we dropped Elias off at the Stinton’s Saturday and headed up to Ikea ALONE and got some serious shopping done.  We picked up a nice wardrobe for our room so that we can consolidate our stuff into one (it’s taller and wider but takes less floor space -vs- my old one).  We also picked up a second crib since we’re downstairs now so Nikki and have the baby in the same room for this first few months when needed (but NOT in our bed).  We then went out to dinner and a movie and had adult conversations which was a nice change of pace!

Sunday we picked up Elias then went to my parents for lunch which was a blast.  Then we came home and all took naps.  After that we played musical furniture and move Elias dresser back into the babies room, then my old one into his room and then setup the new one.  We also moved Nikki’s old dresser out of our room and will have to find a home for it…
