Yep, it’s that time again.  So if you see what looks like scruff on my face it’s a “beard”.  No, really, it is.  Also, Elias is learning how to take pictures with my camera now which has been fun.  It started a few weeks ago with him holding the camera to his face, eyes closed and no pressing any (or the right) buttons.  But this week I’m working him up to using his eye and the viewfinder and then pressing the shutter as well.  He can’t really support the camera and do all that, so he’s usually got me holding the camera and suggesting which way to aim it, but we’ve been having fun with it.  Long story short I’m in some shots these days now thanks to my little man.

We’ve also had a busy weekend.  Nikki had a baby shower to go to Saturday leaving us boys alone all afternoon.  We took advantage and went to the local playground to hit up the slides and swings.  Then today we had a kid B-day party followed by an adult b-day party with a kid who refused to take a nap even with the time change….  He also was nice enough to walk downstairs on his own at 6:30am this morning telling us it was light out.  Yep, he even opened the gate at the top of the stairs on his own….
