Well, we SURVIVED!!!! Nikki had a girls weekend in Vermont this weekend. She left on Friday around noon from work and just got home around 8pm tonight. I’ve hardly had time to talk to her to ask her how her weekend went beyond a few cell calls on her way home, but I can report Elias and I had a wonderful weekend. The only complaint is that it was very cold and windy yesterday so we were housebound all day. We did end up going to Bumpa and Gannies house for dinner though which Elias always loves (it’s also very nice to not have to cook, especially when Nikki’s not home!). Today we at least got out for a walk on the beach, but it was a bit shorter than usual because it was still cold and windy, but not quite as bad. I’m now watching the super bowl so I’ll have to cut this a bit short.
