Yeah, it almost rhymes even?  Elias came down with something at the end of last weekend.  Thank god our doctor has office hours weekends (the office has four doctors, each doctor takes every fourth weekend, both days, 9-noon).  We were able to get Elias down to the doctor Sunday morning and found out he had a double ear infection.  I had Monday off so I was home with him and we had a slow day.  By Tuesday he was supposed to be feeling better but wasn’t so Debby took him back to the doctors.  They did some more testing and found out he had a virus and prescribed him a different antibiotic.  That seemed to work better, but because he had a fever he couldn’t go to daycare all week.  Thank god for grandparents as my mom could step in and watch him both Thursday AND Friday putting her plans aside.  Elias seemed to get better and has been great this weekend.  We managed to make it down to the fools rules regatta Saturday then had a slow day today doing yard work and taking a nice long walk on the beach.  I’ve been trying not to catch Elias’ cold but we’ll see how that goes.  My coughing kept me up enough last night I slept through my 4:15am alarm for the sunrise…
