Well the parade/party day at least. It’s been a hectic week (yes I say that a lot, but it’s been a very bad few weeks at work, then we had an issue with our gas line at the house).  I then shot this morning’s sunrise (up at 5:30am) with some guys from my photography forum.  It was a blast, but I’m paying the price now in terms of tiredness.  I’m also skiing tomorrow so I’m pushing though the blog post so everything is up tomorrow while I’m goofing off.  Today we went to BAP with Nikki’s parents and had a blast.  Some how we’d missed the parade every year (we even lived 1~2 blocks from where it starts for 3 years).  But this year we watched it with Elias who promptly fell asleep even with sirens going off ~5′ from him.  :huh:  Afterwords we headed inside the pud for an awesome lunch (awesome enough Nikki and I skipped dinner!).

I got up super early this morning again for another NSOP landscape/seascape shoot.  We had a blast shooting in Narragansett.  I got a few good shots and had a ton of fun.  I’m not thrilled on the processing of these, but it’s a new camera, computer and software, so I’m working the kinks out.  You’ll notice B+W versions as well because my issues are all with getting the colors to really pop.  You can see 2 versions of one shot where I took the time to go back and reprocess it.
