Well Monday night we had another birthday party for Elias…  His official party was Sunday, but since we were home Monday as well we figured we’d have my parents over for dinner and have another party on his actual birthday.  We were supposed to be flying to/in SLC visiting my sister, but work issues forced us to cancel our vacation.  Elias seemed to like the cupcakes a tad better than the cake from Sunday, but he still didn’t love it.  Maybe too much sugar?  Either way, I thought the cupcakes were delicious!  We let Elias tear into his own and he had a ton of fun with it.

after a rough week at work, some of the guys on my photo forum were having a group meet down @ Weekapaug beach this morning, so I decided to join them.  It was actually very nice to get out and shoot something w/o people in it.  That’s what I generally prefer shooting, but it was a bit weird getting back into a more landscape oriented mode.  It also let me clear my head a bit.
