Septic tanks?  Yeah, that first shot is the cover to our tank.  Why on earth is it on the blog you ask?  Well we had it pumped back in January, but the weather (and our social schedule) has kept us from getting to any yard work until last weekend.  So the first order of business was taking a pic of the location so we can easily find it again.  After that is was a ton of raking just to get the ball rolling.  THIS weekend (the outside shots at the end) we’re back at it, but I’m working on cutting down 2 trees in our backyard.  It’s a sad thing to do, but they were fruit trees and had some sort of fungus.  Each spring I’d have to cute more and more branches off so we finally called it quits.  It also happens that we had to cute a nice hole in the deck when the gas company decided to move (and replace) our meter to the front of the house.  So we’re replacing our deck with a smaller deck, but a patio that will make the usable space bigger.  Stay tuned as we’ll have pics of it as we make progress.

Elias has really taken off with his walking this week.  He can now walk anywhere he wants.  He can even get to our one step down (to the room with the B&W tile), grab the door frame, and step down on his own.  Same on the way up.  He loves looking out the windows and spending time outside.  It’s been fun now that he’s more mobile to go outside with him more.
