I finally broke down and ordered an off camera cord to help me learn flash.  I went with a Chinese knock off over the canon because of the price.  Because it was so “inexpensive” I also picked up a few other things from dealextreme while I was “there”.  The tripod head is an “inexpensive” knockoff of a kirk I guess.  It’s just for the spare tripod to leave in the car.
