Nikki and I both had a long hectic day. We had another baby appointment in Providence at 3:45pm. The problem with that is they’re ALWAYS an hour late. Sure enough we walked out right at 5pm. On top of that my car is getting it’s 100k service done to it a Yarrowsport, so Nikki had to give me a ride home. I also left my camera at the office because I was expecting to go back through there on my way home. We had the appointment, another 5 minute, check her weight, measure her belly, and listen to his heartrate (120) quickie. It tends to be a 10 minute visit tops which is great because it means everything is as it should be.
While we were waiting somehow we got a craving for cheeseburgers… After the appointment we went to the office to grab my camera. At the exit Nikki noticed the Texas Road House that’s across the highway from where I work. It’s actually quite annoying because I can smell their steaks almost every night when I leave the office, but I can’t get them because they’re closed till 3:30pm M~F… So I finally went, and WOW is it good. They have peanuts to crack and toss on the floor while waiting, awesome home made bread, and some amazing looking steaks that you pick out yourself, all at great prices. They even have Narragansett beer there as they’re 1 block from the old factory. Lauren was our server, she was awesome (you can see her staring at the camera in the first shot!). We were in and out quickly and she even hooked us up with a take out/to go box of bread.
